RAPID RELEASE TECHNOLOGY IN WOODRIDGE, IL

Rapid release therapy is a treatment technique using targeted high-speed vibration that quickly releases tension caused by scar tissue, adhesions, and both chronic and acute muscle spasms. This technique reduces pain and increases range of motion.

This amazing therapy takes only 5 minutes and can be easily administered over the areas of the body that need attention. The trained professionals at Advanced Wellness Center often use rapid release therapy to rehabilitate athletes following an injury on the court or field of play. The hand held device is highly effective at helping athletes with quick and effective recovery.

HOW RAPID RELEASE THERAPY WORKS

Rapid Release Technology works by imparting high frequency compression waves at 165 cycles per second, creating a rapid “back and forth” action uniquely targets scar tissue and adhesions. Only targeted high-speed vibration can elicit the Tonic Vibration Reflex (TVR) to release muscle cramps and spasms. This device provides an effective, non-surgical drug-free treatment option for a wide range of conditions.

The hand held device is called the VibraCussor® and has 2 different treatment heads that apply specific types of therapy.

  1. The Actuator™ is easier on more delicate areas and is ideal for trigger points.
  2. The Trumpet Head™ is used often because it gives the great vibrational release and can be used for a variety of reasons.
